Hello Lex,

Thanks for your questions.

In the example - "a man that works in business or commerce," the word 'that' is used as a relative pronoun that is used to refer to a person or thing. The word 'who' is only used to refer to a person. These often get used interchangably.

I hope this helps. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘

Sincerely,

ร‰va

Hello

Could you explain to me the use "who" or "that", please?

I have noticed the below definition:

"businessman: a man that works in business or commerce"

And in that sentence they used "that" insted of "who" is ti valid/correct?

Thanks
