Today we're going to continue with counting as we cover numbers 11-100. |
Let's just quickly review 0 to 10. |
One |
Two |
Three |
Four |
Five |
Six |
Seven |
Eight |
Nine |
Ten |
In English, counting from 11-20 is half memorization half pattern, but then it gets easier after that. |
11 eleven |
12 twelve |
13 thirteen |
14 fourteen |
15 fifteen |
16 sixteen |
17 seventeen |
18 eighteen |
19 nineteen |
As you may have noticed, from numbers 13-19 you just add the word teen to the number you want to say. That's why people who are in this age range are called teenagers. |
Now let's move on to numbers 20~100. Let's first just go over these |
20 twenty |
30 thirty |
40 forty |
50 fifty |
60 sixty |
70 seventy |
80 eighty |
90 ninety |
100 one hundred |
And when you want to say the numbers in between these numbers, add the number we learned in the previous lesson to these. So for example, 21 would be twenty-one. 32 would be thirty-two. 67 would be sixty-seven. 99 would be ninety-nine. Simple as that. |
All right, that's going to do it for today! See you all soon! |
